Sowing Seeds of Life

A picture is worth a thousand words!

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

A Prayer of Endurance

"You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised." Hebrews 10:35

"LORD You are my strength, my sanity, my security, my salvation. Your hand upholds me, Your grace sustains me, Your power supports me. Keep my feet moving forward, keep my faith looking upward, keep my hope pointing homeward. Make a roadway through every rugged mountain, make a pathway through every stormy sea, make a highway through every dark valley.

I do not put my faith in my own  timetable, but in Your perfect plan. LORD, however long it takes, I will trust You I receive Your grace to endure all things with pleasantness of spirit, calmness of soul, and thankfulness  of heart."

Prayer Drive Zip 53206 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

As our church did a "Prayer Walk" in all areas of the city last week   See previous post  decided to do a "Prayer Drive" this week in Zip Code 53206 on Saturday, August 25th.

A great book on prayer!...but NOT while driving!

Did an  Exploratory Prayer Drive around the perimeter of Zip Code 53206 to get an idea of the scope of 53206.  2 miles in length by 1.2 miles in width  or 6.4 square miles.

53206 includes neighborhoods of: Arlington Heights, Borchert Field, North Division, Amani and Franklin Heights.

Boundaries of Zip 53206

Capitol Drive on the North...

1-43 on the East...

North Avenue on the South...

27th ST.on the West...

If we can't or don't want to walk, we can drive down the streets and occasionally stop and get out and walk alittle or just stop and pray...get back in the car and drive to another spot. One can really cover alot of territory this way!

A few pictures below from my car of just a few of the churches in this zip code.

What if even just a few of the Pastors and churches in this area mobilized their members to do a prayer walk in just a few blocks or small radius of their church?
I'm sure many of them are already doing this!!
There  are more churches inside the boundaries of 53206!
Pastors, churches, neighbors united...to stop the violence!
In fact there is a group Pastors United  on Facebook.

Next week I will do random days and random times for a Prayer Drive!

Started driving South on 8th St. and Capitol Drive... next to 1-43 to North Ave. driving West to 27th ST. and then North to Capitol Drive and then East back to 1-43.
Pictures in that order.

On my second trip around the border of the zip Code area, I occasionally drove some side streets...Also, more churches and schools that can be prayed for...

You are special and unique!

Some Basic Foundations!
1.                 You are not an accident!
Isaiah 44:2 (I am your creator. You were in my care even before you were born)

2.                 Before you were conceived, God thought of you. Not fate, chance, luck or coincidence you are breathing here at this very moment.

3.                 Bible says, “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me” Psalm 138:8

4.                 God chose every detail of your body. Race, color of skin, hair, every feature. Also your natural talents…your personality. Psalm 1 39:15-16

5.                 Sometimes emphasis on spiritual gifts…not the other things!

6        That creative process did not stop at childbirth.

7.                 God has been molding and shaping you over the years with a care that exceeds that of the most meticulous craftsman.

8.                 He put you in a unique family.

9.                 He gave you a unique personality.

10.                 He has given you unique abilities, and He has woven a unique assortment of motivators into the very fabric of your life

11.            God made you absolutely unique for a purpose.

12.            Eph. 1:4 God’s motive for creating you? Love.

13.            God designed world’s environment so we could live in it. James 1:18

14.            Most important of all the things He made! YOU.

15.            God made you for a reason!

16.            Part of His plan.

17.            Precious and perfect unique design.

18.            God’s special woman or man.

19.            He made you like He wanted you to be.

20.            Parents you had were the ones He chose. (no matter how bad a childhood we may have had).

21.            May have to struggle with this…and forgive parents.   If we had a less than ideal childhood.

22.            Guess what? WE ALL had a less than ideal childhood.

Dreams
Many of us give up on our dreams.

We simply don’t believe they could happen.

Or we learned that they were unrealistic, or others didn’t support us in them.

We need to have dreams and visions. God wants us to think BIG!!

God wants to give you dreams, visions and gifts.  They are important and the body of Christ will not be complete if you don’t have them!

Dreams and visions can include:
          Ministry vision
          Helping people
          Relationally-marriage, family
Relating to God in certain ways-intimacy
          Friendships

Purpose motivates your life! Purpose driven Life book.

Purpose produces “Passion” (What excites you…what drives you…what makes you get up in the morning raring to go? Do you get up raring to go? (wait for a response…

When you fully comprehend that there is more to life than just here and now, and you realize that life is just preparation for eternity…you will begin to live differently. Living in Light of Eternity. Will make a difference how you handle every relationship, task and circumstance.

What makes you tick?

What is your passion, the spark that needs only a little breeze to ignite into a raging fire?

What do you enjoy so much that you’d do it without pay?

What gives you a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose?

What do you feel you are missing in your life?

Remember: You are unique!

Giving Thanks with a Grateful Heart
